This is our most advanced course on offer. It is designed to bring complete beginners to a commercially ready level on completion. Written and produced by Mike Taylor Education and approved by Qualifi, Habia and Ofqual, this qualification is internationally recognised making it perfect for those learners who want to keep their options open to teach, travel or live abroad. 

Train in our realistic barbershop environment to ensure you gain commercial experience on a minimum of 150 clients ensuring you leave ready for the workplace. 

Course Content:

• Consultation techniques

• Customer service

• Health and Safety

• Tool maintenance

• Shampoo and condition the hair and scalp

• Cut modern and traditional men’s haircuts, including clipper and scissor work, fading, outlines, texturising

• Beards and Moustaches, including beard shaping and care

• Blowdrying and styling men’s hair

• Promote products and services

• Shaving

• Barbershop business support, including social media
