Here are answers to questions we are frequently asked. If you have a question not addressed here, please contact us.

Can I attend a GBBA course as a beginner?

Our Shave Day, Traditional Barbering and Clipper and Beard Confidence courses can be attended by beginners, but attending as a novice (no previous experience/knowledge) will mean that you may be limited in the education that you will gain from the day. Knowledge gained does vary dependent on how quickly the attendee picks up the skills but we do recommend gaining previous experience or knowledge to benefit the most from the course.

Our Introduction to Barbering course is designed to introduce novices to the barbering trade and is the most applicable for a novice. Please note our Advanced Shaving and Fades & Blades: Advanced Barbering courses are not suitable for novices/beginners.

How can I book onto a course?

Courses can be booked from our Courses page.

To book an educator for the day or courses to be held in your shop please liaise with our dedicated team who can arrange the booking details directly.

How do we accept payment?
